While large corporations have the scale and resources to create extensive job opportunities, MSMEs possess unique agility. Their local focus and rapid innovation make them better equipped to adapt to grassroots job challenges. According to the Economic Survey 2023-24, only 51.25% of India’s youth are deemed employable. This underscores the urgent need for skilling initiatives targeted at both large corporations and MSMEs. While big firms are crucial for structured, large-scale employment, MSMEs offer flexibility and grassroots innovation, making them essential to addressing local job market demands.
