In the Union Budget 2024, our Finance Minister outlined plans to enhance the employability of more than 4 crore youth in the coming years, emphasizing the importance of skill development programs to build a future-ready workforce.

Our Chief Strategy Officer Sumit Kumar, was invited as a panelist at the ‘Kushal Bharat Viksit Bharat - Celebrating the YuvaShakti of New India,’ organized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The event, which brought together industry leaders, policymakers and key stakeholders, was a platform to discuss and celebrate the immense potential of India's youth in shaping the country's future.

During the discussion titled ‘Budget pe Charcha,’ Sumit shared his expert insights on the recent budget announcements, particularly those related to skilling and employment.

Sumit highlighted the government's focus on strengthening the skilling ecosystem through increased funding and initiatives aimed at bridging the skills gap across various sectors. He also discussed the importance of public-private partnerships in amplifying the impact of these initiatives, ensuring that the workforce is equipped with industry-relevant skills.

By aligning budgetary allocations with the evolving needs of the job market, Sumit stressed that India could not only address unemployment challenges but also position itself as a global leader in innovation and productivity.

The panel discussion reinforced the significance of collaborative efforts between the government and industry in realizing the potential of India’s youth, paving the way for a prosperous and sustainable future.
